TRANSPORT TAKEOVER
To promote device usage, Nintendo Switch will makeover New York City’s transit system, transforming subway entrances into Super Mario’s green warp pipe system, along with other Switch-ified transit elements.

Mario will take over the PA system to provide special announcements to commuters.
DIGITAL WALLETS
Nintendo Switch will utilize the device’s RIFD technology to create a home for all your transit tickets. Now you never have to stop gaming when going through turnstiles.
THEMED TRANSIT BOARDS
Need to know when the next subway comes? By connecting to your video game library, Switch-ified ticker boards will display current wait times based on what you're playing.
REWARD YOUR PATIENCE
Switch players will get exclusive in-game benefits based on where they bring their device. A trip to the DMV now gives you new parts for your Mario Kart vehicle. Different locations offer unique benefits, so there’s always a reason to keep your device in hand.
TRAVEL ON YOUR OWN TIME
Nintendo Switch will partner with Expedia to offer a Switch app that provides special in-game perks when synced with your travel plans. Whether there’s a delay or change of plans, increased downtime turns into decreased lap times with Mushroom boosts.
SWITCH UP YOUR SCREEN
Aimlessly scrolling through social media is a common pastime, but for Switch owners, it's a distraction. If you're on social media too long, your Switch will fill your feed with Nintendo-themed posts, until one final post appears, letting you know your Switch is waiting.
WATCH THE CLOCK
The same goes for your smartwatch. Once you’ve been sitting too long, your Switch will send a notification to remind you of who’s waiting for you to join in on the fun.
CELEBRATE THE WAIT
Nintendo Switch will throw the ultimate countdown party for those spending precious time waiting for big events like clothing drops and game releases. Switch devices will be passed out to those waiting in line, kickstarting the party before it even begins.
